Young Innovators have started and are growing and growing, but they need more paths so that they can take their innovation to the next level. Young Innovators are now learning about robotics to the core and source of it all. Their very first lesson was just theory and a deep insight into robotics their next lesson will be practical and will allow the young minds to have a touch and feel into making a robot from scratch. Sydney Robotics Club is providing lessons taught by Dr Fawad Nazir the founder of their robotics club. Our facilitator was Notebook Solutions. The Young minds were in their meeting and training area.
After looking at the robots they went through the code which was planted into the robot using a software called Arduino. To see the code and videos, look through the website yourself: http://randomusefulnotes.blogspot.com.au/ Then Dr Fawad spoke about how Arduino has its own microprocessor that works with the code.
After speaking about this, Dr Fawad Nazir went through the pieces that make his machines/robots. These parts and aspects include:
- Your Microcontroller
- Microprocessor
- Sensors
- Actuators (Motors)
- Computer
This ended the session in which the young minds got an insight to what they would start learning next session.
