Winners from either category will be awarded prizes for the effort and quality of their work! (Over $1000 available to win!)
By entering the competition early, you can stay updated on any changes, receive advice, hear the latest news on the competition and also get hints and ideas of what we are looking for! You can give in your project until the end of Term 3!
What do we do for the competition?
There are two main categories:
HTML Coding on Khan Academy (Ages 7+):
- Develop a webpage using Khan Academy’s Web editor, it is your digital portfolio and must:
- Introduce yourself properly
- Discussing any topics you love or are interested in
- After making a proper digital portfolio, you can talk more about your favourite hobby and passions on your website!
- Make sure anyone can view the webpage using the link
Coding on Scratch (Ages 7+):
- Develop either an animation or a game
- The animation or game can be based on anything but make sure it is not too short
- Include the instructions on how to play/view the program and give credit to any ideas you may have used
- Don’t forget to click the “Share” button so that we can view your project!
For both Competitions:
- Submit your project in the form mentioned below
- You can learn how to code and then participate in this competition too!
- YOU CAN STILL WIN EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE STILL LEARNING!
